Corve Class is in the upper key stage of our school and is for year groups 3 and 4.

Maths Assessments

Stottesdon school has devised it's own unique maths assesment to be in line with the national curriculum.

Your child will know which area they are working on. A copy of this will be stuck in your child's  books to ensure that the goals are clear.

A child needs to be secure on the vast majority of aspects before moving onto the next stage. Where possible, we will aim for 'mastery' of elements. This is where a child's understanding is embedded and rapid so they can apply their skills to a range of contexts.

Corve Class had a tennis house tournament (see to your right), where we did different relay and rally tasks to earn points for our houses using the skills we learnt in tennis.
