Rea Class

Rea Class is for our Key Stage One pupils - years 1 and 2. 

Maths

An overview of learning in KS1 is in the links below.  We aim for children to be secure on the vast majority of aspects before moving onto the next stage. Where possible, we will aim for 'mastery' of elements. This is where a child's understanding is embedded and rapid so they can apply their skills to a range of contexts.  We also use the Mastering Number programme which aims to secure firm foundations in the development of good number sense for all children from Reception through to Year 1 and Year 2 (click on year groups to see overview).

Literacy

As with maths, Stottesdon school uses its own reading and writing overviews, which are colour coded for each year group.
